Our coach hire office in Farnham, Surrey is the cornerstone of our coach hire operation and its dedicated staff are who you will deal with from first enquiry through to the completion of your journey. We are easily contactable: our coach hire office is open from 0830 to 1700 hours every business day and we pride ourselves in making ourselves available to answer your calls or emails throughout that time and to welcome you if you’d like to pop in. Good old fashioned personal service!
Drivers
We firmly believe that it is the driver that makes your coach travel memorable - whether it be a day trip, tour or special occasion. We believe that our hand picked and uniformed drivers are among the best you will find anywhere.
Our drivers have a huge depth of experience and knowledge gained over many years in the coach industry and other walks of life. They are all highly trained and are fully conversant with drivers’ hours legislation, are experts in customer care and have been subject to stringent criminal record and health checks.
Workshop Staff
Overseen by our award-winning Engineering Manager Brett Lambley our vehicle workshop facilities in Farnham provide the means to carry out repairs and maintenance on our fleet entirely in-house to ensure the reliability of our coaches and your safety and comfort when travelling with us. Having these facilities enables us to ensure an enviable 100% first time MOT pass rate and to maximize vehicle availability and reduce downtime, thus ensuring that our clients get the right vehicle every time.
Our facilities include vehicle inspection and lifting facilities, electronic headlight alignment equipment, large parts store and a wide range of other specialist equipment. A large supply of fuel is stored on site to complete the support structure for our fleet.
Cleaning our fleet is a key priority for us and vehicles are hand washed and cleaned internally every day to ensure our high standards are maintained day in, day out. You will never see a shabby Farnham Coaches vehicle on the road!
Management
Holding everything together is our highly experienced management team led by Andrew Halliday, Managing Director,who was recently awarded the prestigious industry ‘Coach Manager of the Year’ title in a national competition, backed up by the resources and expertise of the Newman family who purchased Farnham Coaches in 1988 and have also owned Safeguard Coaches in Guildford, Surrey since 1924.
